This is just a short message to all guild members: Needed, any and all Artisan Refining volumes. I need these if I'm ever going to get my Sage skills off the ground, so I'm offering a healthy bounty of 10 gold on any such turned in to me. There are 4 such volumes, so you can make some decent coin on this 'Quest'. LU #18 Has come and gone on Dec. 20th. It brought some good things, like the new quest helper icons on NPC's, and some things I wish had been left alone, Like my favorite Dispel Magic debuff timer. Such are the ways of LiveUpdates. More serious are the changes to the crafting recipe system. I don't really understand how far-reaching this has been, so I won't go into details here. Suffice to say that finding the right high-level recipe could be nearly impossible, since such are now split into individual scrolls- 1 recipe per scroll / drop. I've seen this in Sage recipes, but I don't know if it extends to other crafts.

Have too much loot for your house vault to hold? Then take a look at the new link. It leads you to the Unrest Server's Marketplace forum. You can list any amount of items for sale, so grab your giant's shovel and head for the hall closet!

Well, here I sit waiting for our server to come back up and wondering what LU #17 will bring us. Hopefully, it will smooth out some of the gameplay issues that have been annoying members lately. Especially the occasional busted quest. On the up side, we've had some really amazing adventures lately.A group raid into Nektulos Castle left us hanging when one of the members (not from our guild) had to bail. His wife had just returned from the hospital after a miscarriage. That was bad, but it also left the rest of us without a tank, so we had to give up before nailing Everling. Next time! It seems that Friday nights and Sunday nights are times when many of us can log on, so we'll try to be ready for group runs on those days.

Be sure to check out the many changes in this newest release! There are too many to go into here, but they will impact all of us in one way or another. Of particular good news is that heals will now be more effective. Oct 21, 2005 |

As almost all of you know by now, Slabb / Rahzee has left our guild. He was a good leader and I, for one, appreciate the hard work he put in. Now Anaela, as temporary leader, has passed the Leader title to me - Qelen (or Teqelen, as my alt). I'll try to do as good a job for you as Slabb did. But, things won't be quite the same. That's the way it goes with different people running the guild. The first thing you will find is that there will be fewer officers. With a total of 40 members (and some of those are alts), I don't see the need. Such assignments will no longer be handed out for bringing in guild points. I expect and hope that each of you will bring us rewards by helping to level our guild. Remember: Our guild is only as good as YOU make it. I can try to steer us in the direction I think best for us all, but without your bringing in those points, we'll never advance as a guild. Current members may find themselves dropped levels or boosted, depending on this general wish to shrink the number of officers to realistic levels. This should NOT be taken as approval or disapproval of themselves or their gameplay or their conduct, but simply as an effort to get all of us on an even basis. For instance, an alt will get the same status as the main who is in our guild. It's simply common sense. Generally speaking, no-one will be made an officer unless there's a job for them to fill. Nothing personal is intended. Back to the Future- What about the future? I have lots of plans. I ask for a little patience, since I don't have any intention of spending all my time administering this guild. I bought this game to PLAY :) Anyway, some of the upcoming things will be more of the guild raids that Slabb did so well. I'd love to pick one target a week and send in a guild group to take it down. This week's tentative target is Windstalker Rumbler. We'll make sure everyone has the quest before we go in and we'll all have a good time. I'll post more as I can. I hope you'll all send me anything you can think of that will make the game AND the guild better for you. I'm just starting out on this job and I can't think of everything! Oct 19, 2005 |

The "Fallen Saints" do not currently have a "TeamSpeak" server. It would be nice to have that capability, but for now, we don't have anyone willing to host such a server. I'd like to offer an alternative in the form of a FREE service called Qnext. Qnext offers much more than audio chat (which is the basis of Teamspeak). It's primary reason for existence is instant messaging. Yes, just like MSN Messenger and Yahoo and AOL's AIM. However, it offers a lot of other great features that the others don't even attempt. Here's a list of advanced features... Audio group chat Video group chat Remote control of your home or office computer (like GoToMyPC) Online games (solo and group) Person to Person file swapping (unlimited size) Image swapping and sharing And others.... All of these great online tools are available for free. The icing on the cake is that the Qnext client is capable of connecting to MSN Messenger, Yahoo's Instant Messenger, AIM, and ICQ networks. So, if you already use one of those, there's no need to give up your current buddy list. All you need do is to configure Qnext's client to log in to your current service and you have access to all your current contacts. So, I hope you'll all try it out, at least. It's available as a free download from www.qnext.com . You'll find that the service is versatile, free, and all features are built to be secure, so you won't find yourself sharing anything with anyone that you don't want to share. Check it out! As Some of you may already know! After the new EQ2 revamp their will no longer be guild patrons! All members of a guild will now be able to contribute guild status points. The "Fallen Saints" do not require any of its members to contribute guild status points either by doing "writs, raids, or heritage quests" Although participation is greatly appreciated! We do have a little something called "Guild Status Loot" however, and these items can be sold to certain city merchants in exchange for "guild status points" Not just any merchant will exchange these items for GSP! You may find a complete list of these merchants at our guilds website under the "FAQ's" section! We should not let these items go to waste! Every little bit helps and all members of the "fallen Saints" can do their part to helping our guild lvl by selling these items to the correct merchants, or you may trade them to a fellow guildmate who will know what to do with them! This is a great way for you to earn GSP for the guild , and yourself without consuming much of your time if you dont like doing writs , or other quests that earn GSP!Oct 1, 2005 |
